The release schedule for a film normally starts with North America and Europe before coming to South Africa and other slightly more third-world markets.

My name is Eugene Zak (blogging under the alter-egos of Monkey and Walrus) and I am a huge fan of motion pictures. I am not a professional critic or writer, but like to think that that allows me to speak from the common perspective of movie audiences and most of the people reading this site.
Walrus:
The Walrus character is more direct, and will happily fire away with an opinion. Some might say he is blunt, and often down-right insulting, he will be the one called upon to vent and issue forth the vitriolic content where deemed necessary.
Walrus is also a compulsive linker and has an especially strong attachment to Wikipedia.
Monkey:
Monkey is a sensitive soul and likes to gather as much information about a subject before issuing forth with an opinion. Monkey thrives on information gathering and writing long, well-reasoned reviews. He is also a critical fellow, and where necessary will tell it as it is.
Monkey is also an avid motorcyclist and maintains the Cape Town site of the Riders Association of Triumph.
About the WordPress Site
A few years ago I happened upon an idea to create a family of sites about my interests at the time. I pretty much got to the domain registration phase and have been sitting with a handful of …monkey.com domain names ever since.
In an attempt to renvigorate the idea I have decided to create a simple WordPress site to start publishing my ideas and opinions and hopefully gauge interest from a potential audience regarding a bespoke movie preview application.
As such this is a very tentative first step.
